I was thinking of the mass graves, as I'm not that knowledgable of the detailed history of Iraq or al Hillah. There is a lot of history there - and a lot of war. What are the great civs of Iraq and Mesopotamia? (Sumerian, Assyrian, Bablonian, Savinids?, Persian, Greek, Ottoman, ...) For what? How will you define yourselfs? Where does freedom and tolerance fit in your future? A critical question because if you (Iraq) can't figure that out, then I'll expect another several decades of war and brutality. If the powers that be can extend freedom to the others (Sistani -> Sunni, Sunni->Kruds, Kurds->Turkomen, Sunni->Shia, ...), they will receive 10-fold freedom in return. A blossoming.
